Said to be strong and a good athlete, Acquah figured 21 times for Torino last season, scoring two goals from midfield, and his team-mates numbered England number one Joe Hart on a season-long loan to Serie A.

Acquah also played four times for his country in January's African Cup of Nations in Gabon.
His career began in earnest back home in Ghana at a football academy set up by Northern Ireland outfit Glentoran.
He moved to Italy in 2010 to sign for Palermo and would have loan spells at Parma and Sampdoria before joining Torino on a four-year contract in 2015.
